The Peschiera Mantova Cycle route, a.k.a. Mincio Cycle route, is a cycleway suitable for everyone. For almost 50 km it connects Peschiera del Garda to Mantua.
Mincio Cycle Route, which crosses a part of the Po Valley meandering till the city of Mantua, starts from the province of Verona and more precisely from the touristic resort of Peschiera del Garda overlooking the lake with the same name.
It almost entirely runs along the Mincio river and also rides in the Mincio Regional Park.
It also crosses places of naturalistic relevance such as the Bosco Fontana Reserve, the Bertone Park, the Sigurtà Park as well as medieval villages such as Borghetto di Valeggio sul Mincio, among water mills, ancient walls, and flower gardens.
The final stretch of the itinerary is a system of cycle paths around the lakes and leads into the city of Mantua, a Renaissance city of art, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
